Wow so yesterday I had a really bad attack.  Sharp stabbing pain in my left chest that felt like I was being stabbed with a electric knife.  Thought it was a heart attack and went to hospital.  They did every test and concluded it was more likely neuropathic.  Today that same spot feels like I was kicked by a horse.  Anyone have something similar or should I be worried.

They gave me gabapentin to help ease it tried it last night for the first time along with my marijuana at bedtime.  Should I take it 3 times a day like stated on script or maybe just at night? Any thoughts or experiences with drug would be helpful

Do you have MS? I've known people with MS who have Trigeminal neuralgia , "a chronic pain condition that affects the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from your face to your brain. If you have trigeminal neuralgia, even mild stimulation of your face — such as from brushing your teeth or putting on makeup — may trigger a jolt of excruciating pain".  Different part of the body but sounds similar.

Yes I was diagnosed in January of this year.  Wasn't doing anything but sitting on the couch drinking coffee when it started went all day until I took the gabapentin.  Now it just feels sore.
