I recently read this article on types of MS pain that exist within the MS spectrum. To read the article, Click here
. I am trying to educate myself on the types of pain I tend to feel at various times, as I am still learning about MS having just been officially diagnosed in late July 2017. This article clarifies pain for me at least, I better understand it now. It's a shame we all have to suffer and in so many different ways. I most often get headaches, pain in my neck/back, MS hug, extreme fatigue, shooting pains in my hands & arms, in my legs/feet as well as numbess in my hands. I just about every morning awake with pain & numbness in my hands. Then there's the emotional pain, the anxiety, depression and isolation. The feeling of isolation cause no one understands MS unless they have it and none of my family members or friends have it, and my mother (for example) rarely takes MS seriously so I try and refrain from discussing it with her. Just curious others experiences, which types of pain they more often identify with and also how they go about alleviating it (at least temporarily). MS experiences are like a fingerprints, no two are the same.
Man's real life is happy, chiefly because he is ever expecting that it soon will be so. - Edgar Allan Poe
