I've been noticing for the past couple of months that my skin is becoming very dry on my face, and scalp.  I am also breaking out.  No matter how well I eat, or vitamins I take, and face clensers and lotions I use, I can't get my face and scalp to get back to normal.  Just wondering is anyone else has experienced this?

    Thank you!
    Abbey

I am glad someone else has said this!!! I've been the same way and just thought it was me!!!
No matter what I've tried it doesn't help. I've had really good, clear skin up until I got my diagnosis and now....my face is going crazy on me, it is breaking out all the time!
Let me know if you find something that works and I'll do the same!!!

I have noticed a difference in my skin, but it is clearing up and my color is better since I started taking Copaxone. My daughter even says my wrinkles look smaller! I have been on the meds for about a year now and they are making a huge difference in so many ways.

I've experienced such symptoms after getting my first botox injections. I was in NYC then and had that awful symptoms and fillings. Fortunately, they disappeared in a couple of weeks. Hope, you are also fine now, Abbey!

I am getting white circles on my shoulders.   They look like white freckles.    As far as dryness,  I have always had oily skin,  I have not noticed dryness.   Nor wrinkles.   Just the white circles on my shoulders....Lisa

That is almost all I drink since I can't stand the taste of anything carbonated!

I am tempted to try proactiv since that is my last resort but I don't know.....It's just frustrating to me!

I almost always work with the fluids first. Get a juicer if you can!
  • Lola_Kate
Ok not be ignorant, but.......What do you put in that juicer????
  • seenjo11
leafy greens, carrots, grapes, celery, apple, garlic, ginger, broccoli. not all at once. in combinations. there are defintiely specific recipes for specific ailments. google it.

try that link. the other thing about it: the stuff i juice...i try to make sure it is organic. and i'm not crazy about everything i put into my body being 100% pure salt of the earth etc. etc. just with juicing. let me know how it goes.

Okay I will go get me an oatmeal bar tomorrow...does it matter what type?

Also what type of moisturizer are you using on your skin, do you need one now or will your makeup go on fine without one?

    I am on copaxone......

I bought Proactive, and my skin is def clearing up, and not dry.  It actually has a healthy glow.  I have always drank a ton of water, and I infuse my body with different vitamins every day.  I'm not sure if it was the copaxone that was making my skin break out and become dry.  I had to stop taking Copaxone after two wks because it gave me horrible and I mean horrible reactions at all my injection sites.  I also got an infection from it, as well as my white blood cell count was high, and noticed that I was having severe depression while on it.  I know take Betaseron, other than it upsetting my tummy, I'm very happy on that, and have noticed changes in my skin, scalp, and mood all for the better.
