Have been on Copaxone since 1/15/13. Struck with MS disease 11/1/12.  Very beneficial effect, could feel beneficial effect with first dose.  Lessens or eliminates beestings all over, confusion, headache all day, unsteady gait, emotional instability.  Have some bleed through itching in hands when I wake up, hand and leg numbness.  Rhomberg test (standing 10 sec. with eyes closed) now negative.  Also on Neurontin 300mg tid, excellent drug.  MS local group is very, very helpful to me.  Very strange reaction of some people to knowledge of my illness.  Church prayer group very helpful.

    Dear John,

Sounds like you are in a GOOD place with your MS and CONGRATS on getting connected to the chapter's support groups.  I hope this all continues for you!

Not certain how these dscussion groups work.  Had minor relapse 12/14 due to worrying about whether or not I was going to continue getting Copaxone due to csancellation of my policy due to Obamacare.  New policy did not cover my MS medcine, so switched insurance companies.  Now I will be OK ontil I get on Medicare 7/1/14.

Life is essentially the same except for I gave up singing.

Have been skipping some of the MS meetings due to their being on Yoga and the like, which I have no personal interest in.

Copaxone is the only MS medicine I've been on and I'm with you; I felt a change after just a few weeks on it.  Even with being newly diagnosed, I'm glad I found something that works to manage my MS.  Good luck to you, sir.
