Hi all! I'm 28 years old and am leaving in August for China. I plan to teach English for a year. Does anyone here enjoy travel? Has anyone spent more than a month abroad or have any resources on living overseas with MS?

The only hiccup I have at this point is finding a way to get my Gilenya prescription while I'm over there. I'm currently in the process of appealing UHC for a year's supply before I leave, covered by the GilenyaGo Copay Assistance Program. I've got all my fingers and toes crossed.

Living abroad is something I've wanted to do for almost a decade. I was diagnosed 3.5 years ago and I'm determined not to let it stop me from seeing this through!

    Hello,

This is Steve with the National MS Society.

We don't have information specific to travel in China, but I wanted to provide you the following link that provides information on travel resources for a person with MS.

Best of luck with your travels and please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist.

    Take care!
