Hi this is James and I'm looking to connect with other people who have MS. It's been a long journey since 2000. I don't seem outwardly or obviously disabled, but I have a very diseased, lesion-burdened brain and spine. Right now I'm dealing with some of the worst family related stress I've experienced since I was diagnosed. I'm having a very difficult time finding others with MS to talk to and I've not found many support groups at all here in Los Angeles or in Scotland where I also have a house. I'm very eager to connect with other people with MS!

Hi James first of all sorry. Family sometimes can be the worst. A psychologist friend of mine calls it blame the victim. I call it denial. For many of my family members it was the loss the matriarch. The decision maker, conflict resolution manger....it all became so complicated so quickly. I have a good family friend who is high functioning professional. Although personally I'm not sure how due to hisome disease state. I know this by his treatment regimen. Any who he just does not talk to his family about his MS at all. I'm beginning to do the same with most of mine and it's working out well for me. Good luck. I'm here to chat any time.

Hi James my name's Kate. I'm having the same problem. I live in rural Australia near Melbourne and there's nothing here not even a neurologist!
