For some computer users who have visual impairments.

High Contrast increases screen contrast.

To activate:
Simultaneously press Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen.

To deactivate:
Simultaneously press Alt+Left Shift+Print Screen when the feature is active.

High Contrast

Several schemes are provided in XP and Vista under the High Contrast settings. Each scheme can vary in color combinations and /or font sizes.

 


Cursor Options (XP and Vista)

For computer users who have difficulty seeing the cursor or are distracted by the cursor.

Cursor Options can make adjustments to the cursor’s blink rate and the cursor’s thickness.

In XP:
Access Cursor Options through the Control Panel under the “Accessibility Options.” Cursor Options is found under the Display tab.

In Vista:
Access Cursor Options through the Ease of Access Center (Windows Logo+U) under the “Make things on the screen easier to see” option.

In Vista, the functionality of Cursor Options has been added to the Ease of Access Center under “Make things on screen easier to see.”
