The dmd are so your lessons don't get worse i believe. But there's different diets. Some people go vegan others try the swank diet. I don't know for myself I haven't really studied up on them.

    Hello j5796 -

I know you are looking for personal experiences, but here is a link to general information about Complementary and Alternative Medicines.

I have had MS for 26 years and have not taken any DMDs.I have chosen a very natural route. I go to a naturopath for advice from time to time, but what I have found most helpful have been Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Omegas with high DHA, Magnesium, Probiotics, and Curcumin. I also go for chiropractor treatments and massage therapy, which I find quite helpful.
However, the most dramatic difference for me was when I changed my diet. About 5 years ago I went gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free. I also began to really focus on eating healthy, with lots of healthy proteins, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds...and eliminating processed foods and GMOs. Of those things the biggest difference has been going gluten-free. When I decided to go 100% gluten-free, I felt almost like a new person within 10 days, with significantly less pain, less brain fog, less spasticity, and way more energy. I am not sure if it has slowed the progression of the disease, but it has really helped my well-being, helping me to feel well and not so miserable and fatigued.
I would highly recommend researching a natural approach.
