The strangest thing happens to me every once in a while. I feel water running out of my ankle to the point where even my feet feel wet. I find myself checking my socks to see if they are wet. Always from left ankle. Anyone else get this or am I nuts?

Tim8,  I too have a strange sensation but not from left ankle.  Mine is located on the inside of my left elbow.  it will feel wet and cold.  I have gotten used to it now at first I was looking for a leak, had me baffled it felt that real.

I too have this! Mine is down the back of my leg...the first time i felt it I thought someone spilled ice water on tne couch. I jumped up feeling my rear-end and leg...dry as a bone! It felt like ice water running down my leg. I asked my neuro about it & he kinda chuckled...he said he's heard from other patients of the same sensation and he said its just my "nerves playing tricks on you".

Not on the ankle, but the arm, then I touch it and it is dry. Makes me remember that once I said that i would like to have my experience in alignment with reality, and I have grown careful of my judgement. Maybe we are skitso, two of us playing games in our heads and we don't know it. Maybe we stepped in a puddle and didn't know it. Isn't it fun.

Holy frijoles, yes!!!  I have to do the same thing.  I feel like my left foot stepped in warm water and look down to check for the puddle, even when I'm inside the house.  Oh, and don't worry, we are certifiably nuts, just not about this.  We're all in this together.   Keep your stick on the ice.

I don't feel running water.  I just feel water droplets in certain spots.  Turns out sometimes they are really water touching me and sometimes not.  So I attribute it to a MS symptom.  It is weird but this is one weird symptom that I can live with.

Same here! It feels as though it’s beginging to rain and you feel the first droplet. Then when I go to look, it’s completely dry. Or for instance, yesterday I thought my water bottle in my bag was leaking because it felt as though water was spilling onto my toes through my cloth loafers.
Its scary because my son says he feels that sometimes as well. I’m so scared to have him checked out for MS.

This is a symptom I have almost on a daily basis.  Sometimes it feels like dropplets, sometimes it feels like something spilled on me.  A few times it felt as though a bucket of water fell onto my foot.  This sensation usually happens on my feet or legs.  It is super annoying but at least not painful.

This is the symptom that caught my doctors full attention. I've been experiencing a wet sensation on my skin for over 20 months now. It typically starts on my left foot then works its way up my entire left side and then starts on the right side. In the beginning I was constantly checking to see if I had water running down my leg or arm. It stopped for a few months. Then about two months ago it started again. It is a daily occurrence now for the past two months. I also now have cold spots that feels like an ice cube sitting on my skin.

had Brain MRI without contrast this week. My doctor said results show several areas of damage in area typically associated with MS. She is referring me to MS Neuro...so now I wait. I'm keeping a list of all the symptoms now that I have been experiencing to present to my Neuro.
