Can MS cause elevated CPK rates?
I've searched our website and our internal database, and didn't find any results for creatine phosphokinase or its acronym CPK. I'm inclined to think that if MS was commonly linked to elevated CPK levels it would have been listed...I'd suggest that you speak with your healthcare providers (and make sure that they're speaking with each other) to determine the cause if this is a concern for you.
It would make sense that it might. But check with your doctor to find out what he/she thinks might be the cause.
It's usually for stress on the heart, but it also shows in people with myapothy. I would do some reading on it.
