Ok so I ended up going to the hospital because I thought I was having a stroke or flare up or something going on. The whole left side of my body was messed up from my face to my arm and leg. I don't understand this stuff but when they where checking me out they were checking my motor skills and reflexes and everything. And they where saying something about a 2 and 3 with those. The CT scan showed no stroke MRI showed no leasons at all this time in my brain or c spine. All that I know is that I'm sick and tired of this b.s.. From all these issues only getting worse one minute I can't even get up or stand on my own then after taking the ampyra my legs will finally work. But then I end up getting to hipper or antsy and it's making me stay up too much and causing more pain in the end. But back to the leasons. For the past several years I've been just going downhill steadily as far as mobility and spasisty along with the cog fog floaters then slurred speech and of course the facel druping. Anyone have any idea what the heck is going on. Between 17 to 20 years ago my original Dr said I had these Dawson fingers then he didn't know what they where then I kept having issues so I kept ending up in the hospital from blood pressure to stroke like symptoms then in 2013 they did a lumbar puncture and I came back positive for o-bands as well. But I'm getting more terrified each day as my symptoms progress. Now as to the blood pressure it was to the point of being on isosorbide mononitrate atenilol nitro glycerin and other meds. They couldn't figure out what was happening this was before being diagnosed with MS. Then magically the blood pressure just went back to normal on its own and didn't have to take the pills anymore. That had to be about a year after starting to take the aubogio. Anyone have any idea would much appreciate it and any advice. Oh and I forget I've been dealing with optic neuritis and I believe the grey fog like vision is part of that as well. From what my sister found out is that the MS is just getting worse and with everything that has been happening I believe she is correct. So I left the hospital the day before Christmas because I promised to make it for Christmas since I missed Thanksgiving with the plan to follow up with my neurologist. But also considering getting another opinion as well.

headaches and high bloodpressure are both side effects of aubagio. Check aubagio side effects online and see how many you have. The good news is it is not ms, now you have to decide if you want to switch medication. The optic neuritis is. It may be time for a second opinion about what medication you should be on.

You say you have brain fog, but from your recent writing you seem clearer than before. If you vreaqd some of your old stuff you will see a big difference in your communication skills, a dramatic improvement.

So the headaches may not be from the alpha lipoic acid or it may be a combo of the aubagio and alpha lipoic acid?

Side effects are the worst part of taking ms drugs.

I actually haven't been on aubogio in a couple years. And the blood pressure issues where before I started the aubogio as well they actually went away after starting the MS medicine. But also they where certain that it was MS because I did have the lesions before and the original lumbar puncture came back positive. But I started to question the MS when I started getting worse. But no lately no cog fog my thinking has been getting better since I've been on the ampyra as well as my legs seem to be getting better at times. But unfortunately I end up doing the same thing always and that is trying to up and trying to move about that way I don't keep getting weaker but then I end up in more pain and more spastic. But if I can't try and take care of myself then I will end up in a home eventually.

Did you ever go back to the surgeon for your back? Sometimes what we think is an ms symptom is not ms but other medical issues we with ms accumulate.

Hey Bobby, I remember you mentioning that you smoke pot. If you also smoke cigarettes think about when you smoke do you feel worse? Consider making pot cookies instead of smoking, your lungs may be pissed at you for not giving it enough oxygen.

I am not a goody two shoes after quitting smoking, i smoked for 44 years cigarets etc, since I quit smoking I notice a definite better life with ms..Remember I said we moved to Missouri 22 years ago because we KNEW I was dying, soon after moving to MO I quit smoking and began to feel better, I thought it was the sunshine, ha ha but I think it is not smoking. What do you think>>
