I have attempted to make this post a couple of times. But hopefully I got it this time. I am terrified of summer heat, I tend to have additonal MS symtoms in the summer time and I have constantly been told to stay cool, but i feel like a captive in my own home. I still work but feel so weak during this time of the year. any tips, any encouragement anything will help.

Its getting hot and humid where I live.  Its also light here at 5:30 am so I plan to get out of bed early (ya, right! Lol) and walk, run errands, etc., and go out after dark and enjoy the summer nights.  When I have to be out mid-day, I don't leave home without my Frog towel.  I keep it in the freezer when I'm not using it.  It really works for me.  I've had to change my wardrobe and go for light cotton, sleeveless shirts and baggy cotton shorts or skirts.  I find that I'm cooler without tight clothes.  The combination mist/fan bottles are good too.  Scope out where you're going ahead of time and look for shade.  If there isn't any, take an umbrella.
You can still enjoy summer!!  It just takes planning.

I’m trying to figure out if I have have heat intolerance.  I’ve had a mild disease course for the past 15 years but recently I noticed that I’m more tired after taking showers.  I went outside and walked in 87 degree weather and felt fine.  My wife said that she was hot.
