I wish it was easier to get through!!! I'm feeling swollen up again and been in more pain than usual... I went down to get my ivig treatment and the Dr first said that they were going to do it at home but then said that I had to switch back to straight Medicare so the office is over an hour away and I missed my previous ivig. 😂😂😡😂 so you can see how I am feeling about now. And at least that day turned out great because the best part was even though I didn't get my treatment I had an awesome time with my sister and even was able to visit with my brother and got a bunch of shopping done. Then the next two days after that I worked on my yard some but now I can't even stand and having to use my stupid power chair. And nothing I've done has helped with the pain. I'm using two big ice packs now and hopefully I'll get some relief.
I'm so sorry you're experiencing this pain, please keep your spirits up and try to ignore the pain as much as you can and don't think of it so much .That's what I'm telling myself these days to pass my current terrible few bad days too, walking properly and climbing a stair is a wish for me now .My heart and prayers goes to you my dear. ❤🙏
Well bird! you let emotional satisfaction win yet again, good for you, yeah you hurt, a lot, but you sound pleased that you had a good time, next time forgetabout the shopping, being hungry is a good exercise. Last time you did a whole lot of gardening.

Oh dear Lord I think him each day that I'm still able to do things. It's just when it's all said and done I don't know that I can keep going like this.
Please pay attention: Rest before you get tired. Work ten minutes, rest for twenty. you obviously dont know yet what your limits are so you have to begin slowly. Dont get greedy, you cant have it all, you can only ahve a little. Stop and smell the roses, watch the grass grow, watch the dirt turn to weeds, and the leaves bud. Now is the time for you to observe! Just like there is a time to listen, a time to speak, observe and think, exercise your mind while your body rests.
Remember they said youth is wasted on the young, you know know what that means. It is not just ms, it is time passing too. Rest before you get tired, spend five minutes on one task then change and do a different task, dont do too much repetitive work, that only uses a few muscles a lot. Do tasks from sitting if you can, sit as you make dinner. Find the fastest easiest way to get the job done. Conserve your energy, REST BEFORE YOU GET TIRED, then rest some more.
A lot of times I'm afraid to stop before I'm done because I might not be able to get back to it for a while. I don't know if that makes sense or not. And today I woke up to this head ache that still hasn't left. I hope it stops soon.
Yes bird, it makes perfect sense, finishing a job instead of seeing it half started, AND that kind of thinking will always get us in trouble. We use to be able to work until our bodies told us to stop but that message is broken, it doesnt play anymore so we must observe ourselves to learn what is useful and unuseful behavior, pain, I avoid like the plague, but at 72 i have a lot of practice learning what hurts and what doesnt hurt.
Remember, the body warning signal is busted so you need to find a system that works for you that lets you avoid pain, think happy.
