OK I'm new here and glad I found this forum as I spend most of my time isolated from ppl in general. I hope to become an active contributing member but have a question for those drawing SSDI. I received the long form a few weeks ago and sent it in. My question is why would I receive the long-form in the first place? I would expect SS knows this is something that doesn't go away and the stress is killing me, as if I need more stress. I live in the Pacific Northwest. The winter weather is literally making me insane. We have a huge house and property which I cannot maintain. My doctor has said several times to downsize, preferably to a sunnier climate. My wife and I are in the process of trying to get the house in shape to put it on the market nd make that move. This couldn't have come at a worse time. Has anyone else received the long-form? What was the outcome?

I am sorry. I understand how stressful that can be. I received a Short Form  a few months back and finally got a notice they didn't need to do a Review at that time. I am 59 years old, and I understand that your age can figure into it. I have found the following Website very helpful within the past few months. You may want to have a look. Best to you!

You’re in the right place. The phone numbers for you, might seem overwhelming right now but hopefully with all of the phone numbers or resources it’ll make things a lot easier for you.
