It IS okay for you to give yourself permission to be free from suffering, it may make you day better in many ways, it may free up some of your time and energies, it probably shall. It will also make you feel lighter, gentler and comfortable. Not every discomfort you experience is associated with ms or any of the orther ailments we have. Some of us believe we need suffering to validate our lives, that it is central to our existence, this in fact is not true, we can live without suffering. So try it, you may like it.
I don't think people really need the suffering to count for something.
