I was told I was in remission. When my neurologist told me she said it may last or if it goes into relapse hitting hard.
    Opinions please!

Wow! Were you taking any MS drugs? If so which one?

    Hello,

It really depends on a lot of factors, such as the type of MS you have, medication you are on, etc. I would discuss this further with your neurologist - you can even consider a second opinion as well. If you have any questions, please call 1-800-344-4867 to speak to an MS Navigator.

    Warm Regards,

As far as I know, remission is no new disease activity. That does not mean all the symptoms have disappeared, so you will have the wonderfully annoying things we all complain about along with some new ones.

Adapting to the changes is important and something we all take in our own stride at our own pace. If you disagree with the dr get another opinion. Was it based on comparison of old and new mri's?
Hoow do you feel about that diagnosis?

I guess that just means that you are in remission until your next relapse.  I don't think it is going to last.  I wouldn't feel too comforable thinking that you don't have to worry about it anymore.  I would really feel better just getting a second opinion.
