My Story 0 Appreciate this

November 1995, While walking in the woods, at our cabin site in PA., I fell to the ground. Thinking I must have just slipped, I got back up, walked a few steps just to fall again. After falling another 2 times, I realized something was wrong. I sat for a hour (resting) and was able to walk back to the cabin very carefully. After taking it easy over the weekend, All seemed well, and passed it off to being some sort of temporary illness. A few months later I fell again and started falling about once a month. Never injuring myself when falling. I stated to be more cautious when walking and the falling decreased. Started to walk awkwardly, people would ask if I was OK, I would tell them I was fine, and blamed on an old motorcycle accident form 1984. They believed me. Fatigue issues increased and my employer became concerned, sending me to multiple drug and alcohol test. Sent me to company doctor, who suggested I could have had a silent stroke. I had a complete work up. stress test, cat scan, heart cathode, All came out OK. Switched doctors in 2008. He ordered an MRI, and was diagnosed with MS. Worked till 2011 with increasing difficulties, and went out on disability. Largest challenges are loss of my friends over the years. They don't want to understand my day to day problems and how they affect my ability to be one of the gang.
