I'm a happily married 46 year old grandmother with some neurological issues that may or may not be MS.
I was sent to a neurologist due to chronic uveitis and vertigo. I've also had problems with chronic pain and digestive issues.
A whole lot of blood work was done, which all came back normal. A lumbar tap was done, which also came back normal. The VER came back normal. The brain MRI came back with some abnormalities including some T2 hyperintensities and enlarged ventricles. The neurologist sent me to a neurosurgeon with a dx of hydrocephalus. The neurosurgeon disagreed. I will be seeing a new neurologist soon, who is also an MS specialist, so I'm hoping he can tell me for sure what is going on.
I hope to learn from others here and hope that someone can learn from me as well.
