I was a postal carrier for the US postal service. I started to notice that I couldnt see addresses like I used to or tail lights on the cars. I made an appointment with my eye doctor and after all the testing they conducted, I was informed to go see a neurologist. After an MRI I was diagnosed with RRMS😢. I was relieved to get an answer for years of strange an unexplainable symptoms but I was devastated that I was now a single mother of two with this Chronic Disease.
Very rough road after diagnosis. Had to stop working. Could no longer drive and bedridden for a month. It was devastating not to be able to care for my children. There was no one around to aid me during the first month. Then God sent an angel my way😊. An ex boyfriend whom I've dated throughout the years, I contacted because I knew that I needed help and he would be there. Two months later we were married. He promised to always be there to support me and the children and to be there for us. We are coming up on our 3rd anniversary!!!
I am a very spiritual, kind and loving wife, mother and friend. MS is tough BUT SO AM I 💪🏾. I am so honored to wake up to a new day. It's a new beginning and I'm going to live my life with compassion, love, strength and peace.
