I met my husband in 2007 and we married in October of 2012. A few months before we married, he began to have vision problems that wouldn't go away. After a visit to the optometrist, he was diagnosed him optic neuritis and an MRI was recommended. The MRI showed multiple lesions in his brain, suggestive of MS. He was seen at Johns Hopkins and the week before we married he was officially diagnosed with MS.
His optic neuritis eventually resolved, and his vision has returned almost to normal. Other than the lesions and some occasional blurriness, he had no other symptoms. Then in 2014 we had our daughter, and a month after her birth he began suffering from chronic pain behind his eyes and chronic fatigue, which he has been suffering from ever since with no help despite the countless doctors, medications, and alternative medicine he has tried.
