It was about September 12th, 2017 when I started to feel numbness in my toes. From that point on, it gradually moved up my feet until the numbness had spread to my waist. On September 19th, 2017, I went to the doctor's office to see if I had a pinched nerve, or something similar. The doctor told me to check myself into the Emergency Room at Deaconess Hospital, Spokane. From there, I was told that I have MS and not much else. I am still in the hospital due to testing and the waiting process for rehabilitation. This whole thing is new to me and that's basically all I have to my story so far. I hope to not add more in the future, I hope I can keep the condition manageable, but we will see. I used to dream of being a police officer and helping people. Now, hopefully I can just find a way to help others, as well as, myself on a daily basis in smaller ways and seek the same fulfillment that I thought that career path would grant me.
