My Story 0 Appreciate this

While I was going to College in the 1990s I started getting migraines. They were so bad I had to miss alot of my classes. I stayed home and slept most of the day. Finally I went to a neurologist he suggested I get an MRI. When he shared the results with me I started crying. There was big white things on my brain. I couldn't believe it. I had to drop out of college. All my hopes and dreams were shattered. My neurologist sent me to the Cleveland Clinic to get a second opinion. They put the halo on me. I screamed while they were screwing the screws in my head. THIS is when I was diagnosed with MS. For 20 years I had some flare ups. Then I was put on steroids. 10 years ago I had the worse flare up. Which put me in the wheelchair. I have Secondary Progressive MS now. I experience alot of spasticity, I can no longer brush my teeth, I have a hard time feeding myself. I also have a hard time swallowing. Physical therapy and occupational therapy help. I've had the Ocrevus infusion twice. I can see the changes. I'm looking forward to getting my next infusion in October.
