I was diagnosed with MS just after my 21st birthday. I have an Aunt and a Great Aunt with MS so I was some what familiar with the disease before my diagnosis. Because of my young age is was a huge reality check and life changing event. Over the 8 ½ years since my diagnosis I have learned to live quite normally with the disease. I will not say it is always easy but I survive. I work full time as an office manager, as I have done constantly since my diagnosis. I am married to an amazing man who is truly my life partner and takes care of me anytime I am under the weather because of the MS. I try to live by the idea that things could always be worse and I could have a much worse disease. But as I get older and learn more of what MS does to the body I am always trying to learn new ideas and ways to regulate this disease.
