MS affected my life when my Aunt had it years ago when there was not as many treatments available and saw her suffer through it. Then my sister was diagnosed over 15 years ago and now has progressive MS. I also was diagnosed after at least 4 years due to military as soon as I got out and went to a normal neurologist I was finally diagnosed. My biggest challenges are not being able to do what I used to do because I have always been very active, but I am very stubborn and will not let MS win. I have seen how this disease has affected me throughout the years actually months by disabling me in new ways. It becomes very frustrating and hard to deal with but I need to stay positive. I have a wonderful support system which is my family and especially my sister that I am able to relate to.
