My Story 4 Appreciate this

One day, out of nowhere, I opened my eyes in the morning and everything was upside down. I got up out of bed and everything just started SPINNING, (vertigo) upside down, and in doubles. I got 6th nerve palsy too, but all of that went away with Steroids. Im so thankful I found an Amazing MS doctor who put me on Tysabri and has been taking the best care of me ever since. My symptoms that I feel everyday, some days worse than others, are invisible; fatigue, cognitive fogginess, strabismus and depression. But I take my medication, vitamin supplements, I try to exercise, eat and sleep well, and try my best to live young, healthy and happy. Im an English teacher and I love working with really troubled / inner-city, incarcerated youth. My dream is to teach writing and meditation, and help more and more kids overcome their pain and create and succeed at opportunities that would seem impossible to others.
