The MS so called diagnosis journey began January 19, 2013 when Inwas admitted to the hospital for further testing because of the demyelination found on my brain. My symptoms that I really never paid much attention too were numbness, bees buzzing in my body and complete exhaustion. After further testing for everything under the sun, the neurologist performed a lumbar puncture and discharged me from the hospital telling me that it could be six months to a year before he would label me with MS. One month later, February 14th, 2013 my diagnosis was confirmed with spinal fluid with extremely abnormal IGG levels and iclonal bands which the NP said are consistent with MS. It took her a while to come in the room and tell me this news, butI could hear her talking to my neuro in the next room, maybe his office I am really not sure. He explained to her there is no other explanation since the other diseases they tested me for we're all negative. That was the truly worst day of my life.
