I was very happy to see this group on the site as well..I'm sorry that it's not very active.I agree 💯 that riding is absolutely theraputic for the mind and the soul! After riding for decades, I gave up riding 2 wheels when balance issues due to my PPMS became an issue that I didn't want to ignore. This past year I acquired a vintage Harley Davidson with a factory sidecar (personally, didn't want to get an ordinary trike); 3 wheels now so balance issues are no longer an issue.. The Best medicine that I ever received during this entire journey to date. There's a bike out there for Anyone who wants to ride- even if it needs to be modified.  The freedom of riding is something that I highly recommend that more people put on their treatment plan.

I'm surprised that this group does not get more activity.  I was so glad when I saw that there was actually a group for people with MS who ride or appreciate motorcycles.I gave up riding my 2 wheels a few years back when I was experiencing balance issues from what was later diagnosed as PPMS.  That was a hard pill to swallow, especially since I was a chapter officer of a charitable law enforcement motorcycle club.Last year, we located a vintage Harley Davidson with a factory sidecar- 3 wheels to eliminate the balance issues.  Getting back on the bike was one of the best medicine that I have done during this crazy journey. There are many three wheel options out there for people to get back to riding if they want to- and bikes can also be set up with handicap controls, if needed. During this crazy time of social distancing, riding is a great way to get out of the house and clear your head.

Hi😎. I was happily surprised to see this group on an MS site. I thinking riding a Moto is therapeutic to someone who has MS. Mentally and physically I feel better as I ride. Yes, some days it takes all my energy to pull the bike out.... once it’s on the road I’m feeling alive. I ride a Bonnie T100 (2012). I’ve modified it a little bit.... I’m on the fence about trading over to the newer Harley. I’m curious about what others are riding and the ease of the different types of motorcycles to ride.

I hear you and understand, being a Harley girl myself (is there any other kind of bike!) All kidding aside,I learned of my MS last year and I don't know about you but it sure changed everything for me. Mainly socially, and I so miss it....and I feel like it's my fault.Because half the time I just don't have the energy I use to. I just started Copaxone after failed Tecfidera , so curious, what are you doing?

I got excited when I saw the group title but I see its not active, such a shame. What's it gonna take to get people talking? My profile picture was taken this year at Devils Tower when we were at Sturgis.

Does anyone know of any bike rides in South Carolina this year? I have been looking for a way to connect with others with MS and what better way than doing something I love? Thank you.
